How Long Does It Take For Eye Drops To Work

SOS Workshop for preventing discrimination in access to quality internships

The
AFIJ designed and conducted since 2006, an action entitled "SOS internship" on several sites. Lately, this action took place:
  • to Paris, with support from the City of Paris,
  • to Lille Reims and Strasbourg, within the CUCS,
  • to Rouen as part of a prevention of discrimination in the Community Agglomeration (The Crea)
  • in Alsace, Limousin, Lorraine, Midi-Pyrenees with the support of DRJSCS,
  • in PACA , with the support of the Regional Council PACA ,
  • in Languedoc-Roussillon with the ESF.
This action aims to facilitate access to courses for students who do not have an enabling environment and a favorable relationship with its acquisition.
The need such an approach comes from the findings of diagnostic conducted by AFIJ. Discrimination focus primarily on access to internships, even more than access to employment. Indeed, employees in charge of selecting candidates for training are generally not personnel managers or human resources. Relationship factors play a full and habits for the recruitment of trainees. In some companies, the choice of participants appears as an advantage is given to certain managers or supervisors or to all employees. This benefit is part of the "social pact" of the company.
The
AFIJ followed several thousand students at risk of discrimination in access to internships. Youth who accessed the course were successful in their industry and in the specialties they wanted to pursue.
This is not intended for all students, including internships are generally offered by their institutions of higher education, but to those who face particular difficulties in access.
